The President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Comrade Olushola Oladoja, has reportedly expressed support for Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State as the Next president of Nigeria during a private meeting held in Ibadan on Thursday night.
According to information obtained by Oyo Mind, Governor Makinde hosted the NANS President and his executive members in Ibadan, Oyo State Capital, where they were said to have stayed for about a week at Carlton Gate Hotel.
The meeting, sources disclosed, was held behind closed doors to discuss how to pay Seyi Makinde back with his support come 2027.
A source familiar with the meeting revealed that Comrade Oladoja openly praised the governor’s leadership and support for the student community, describing Makinde as a “pillar of encouragement.

Though no official statement has been released by NANS or the Oyo State Government.
There have been increasing calls from within the PDP urging Governor Makinde to consider contesting for the presidency in the 2027 general election, particularly following reports that the party may zone the ticket to the South.
