Environmental Health Council of Nigeria’s Resource Assessment Team Visits UI

The Environmental Health Council of Nigeria (EHCN) has sent a team of experts to the University of Ibadan for professional accreditation of the Bachelor of Environmental Health Science (B.EHS) programme of the Department of Environmental Health Sciences of the University.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Kayode O. Adebowale, mni, FAS, while welcoming the team to the University, acknowledged that resource assessment visits are customary.

He said they are necessary to assess the academic facilities available so as to ensure that they are adequate for the University to produce graduates who are worthy in character and sound judgement.

The leader of the team, Associate Professor Sunday Adeleke Ojewale said the essence of the exercise is not to witch-hunt but to appraise and assess the material and human resources available, to ensure that the products of the department are able to key into the vision and mission of the University.
