The founder of the Okanlawon Foundation, Engineer (Dr.) David Olusegun Okanlawon has been awarded an Honourary Doctorate Degree of Business Administration DBA (Honoris Causa) by the Maverick Business Academy, London, United Kingdom
Engr. Okanlawon, while receiving the honour explained that, “I am honored that my track record in business and human capital investment is recognized in this way. It’s been a long journey with very many challenges surmounted. It means so much to me that the work I am passionate about resonates with others, most especially to the management of Maverick Business Academy London, who decided to confer on me this prestigious honor after conducting proper scrutiny and background search”.
Engineer Okanlawon, who have “excelled in businesses, project management, and professional studies due to the unrelenting quest for success, which has been my working mantra since childhood. This mantra has helped me to skip hurdles, conquer impossibilities, and earned me deserved victories including this noble honor”
He has also steered the course of affairs as a leader figure in business and my professional career from various capacities in telecommunications and highway engineering with different companies, a notable one being one of those executing Niger Delta Developmental Commission (NDDC) projects.
Business ventures ranging from travel and tours, Auto Business, logistics and constructions, and construction, and of course, establishing the 04 Multipurpose Unique Concept Limited, and Luli Construction Company on the way.
He further appreciated his wife, family for their constant support and periodic nudge to keep the ball rolling. He also appreciate the management of the Maverick Business Academy and their Nigeria Partner, M. Gibes Business School for the rare privilege.
