Chief Kola Karim, the Agbaoye of Ibadan Land, and the Baba Adinni Tijaniyat of Yoruba Land has congratulated Muslim faithful around the world during the occasion of the annual Maolud Nabiyy.

Alhaji Kola Karim observed that “The theme behind the celebration of Eid Maolud is not only to remember and celebrate the life and time of Prophet Mohammad(SAW) but also learn and practice his teachings and lifestyle which is predominantly about love and magnanimity towards one another”.
He further quoted the Prophet of Allah (Sallallaahu `Alayhi Wa Sallam) said: “Whoever is kind, Allah will be kind to him; therefore be kind to man on the earth, He Who is in heaven will show mercy on you.” (Abu Daud Tirmidhi)
The Baba Adinni Tijaniyat of Yoruba Land further enjoins the leaders to embrace love and be magnanimous in the discharge of their role, he writes ” Leaders have to also practice love and show magnanimity in leadership as Allah says in the Quran that It is He who made you successors on the earth and raises some of you above others in rank, to test you through what He gives you, your Lord is swift in punishment, yet He is most forgiving and merciful (Quran 6:165)”.
He conclusively congratulates the entire Muslim Umma, Toriqat Tijaniyat Faidat Ibrahimiyah, the Khalifa Tijaniyat Ibrahimiyah Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, Alaafin of Oyo Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi, the Olubadan of Ibadan Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji, the Aare Musulumi of Yoruba Land Alhaji Daud Akinola, and the congregation and wishes all a happy Eid Maolud celebration.
