Ibadan born renowned technocrat, philanthropist and politician Ayodeji Ismail Karim congratulates muslim faithfuls on the occasion of birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) while urging them to remain peaceful which symbolises Islam.
Ayodeji Karim in a media release urges Muslims to imbibe the tenents of Prophet Muhammad’s (SAW) Sunnah which include peacemaking, humility, submission to constituted authority (Quran 4:59)love and respect for one another. He advocates whistle blowing when necessary as the Prophet(SAW) said that people can get punished for the sins of individuals if they see bad things and refuse to correct them when they have the power to do so.
He therefore enjoins faithfuls to be resilient, prayerful and lawful in their conduct of affairs while seeking forgiveness (Allah has promised that after forgiveness comes blessings).
He further enjoins the leaders to be considerate and God-fearing as all men will give accounts of their deeds to Almighty Allah on the day of Judgement.
He conclusively prayed for the people, the government, the state and the world at large for peace and development.
