As millions of Nigerian Muslims join their counterparts across the world to celebrate the Eid-el-Fitri, the Ibadan north local government chairman, Hon. Yusuf Sahib Oladayo ‘Agba Egbe’ has asked Muslims in Ibadan north local and Nigerians to celebrate the festival with love and unity.
The Eid-el-fitr festival marks the end of the Ramadan fast and it is celebrated by Muslims worldwide.
In a Sallah message made available to OYOMIND by the Bodija Akinwale, the special adviser to the Chairman on Media and Publicity, Agba Egbe said, “I join all Muslims and other patriotic citizens in the pious expectation that God Almighty will hearken to the supplications of the faithful and bless Ibadan North local government even more abundantly with peace, political stability and prosperity.
“I thereby urge Ibadan north residents to continue to support the present Administration of his Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde in every possible way to ensure that the state continues to make steady progress towards the successful implementation of its agenda for positive transformation.”
