The Department of State Services has debunked the news that it’s officers attempted an arrest on the popular activist, Sunday Adeyemo also known as Sunday Igboho.
OYOMIND earlier reported that the Sunday Igboho escaped an arrest by officers of the DSS and Operation Burst along Lagos/Ibadan Expressway.
In a statement released by the Public Relations Officer of the DSS, Peter Afunanya described the news as misinforming which should be regarded as fake.
“The Department of State Services wishes to refute the news that it attempted to arrest one Sunday Igboho, today, at Ibadan, Oyo State. The said news is misinforming and should taken as fake and therefore be disregarded” he said.
