Some armed thugs suspected to be members of the Oyo State Park Managers System, PMS have been arrested by security oppetatived at Ita Awure/Efon junction at about 3am today.
The arrested thugs were linked to have had plans to disrupt the forthcoming gubernatorial primary election to favour a particular governorship aspirant in Ekiti state.
OYOMIND recalls that a renowned activist, Deji Adeyanju has alleged the Oyo State governor, Seyi Makinde of harboring thugs and sponsoring violence.
According to Adeyanju, Governor Makinde’s being the only PDP governor in the Southwest zone of Nigeria has not delivered on his campaign promises but embarked on social media propaganda and imposition of candidates which will, in turn, destroy the PDP in the zone.
“Seyi Makinde the zero work guy with 100% social media propaganda might destroy PDP in the SW. His love for tyranny, imposition, and violence is second to none. He is raising an army of thugs in Oyo. We all see this during the PDP SW election. Expect more. Seyi na scam”
The arrest PMS boys were caught with guns, machetes, charms, and lots of other harmful objects.
