Hon Ayoade Rasheed Adegboyega (ARA) announced plans to donate 1m cash and food items to be distributed to his constituents as palliatives during this Coronavirus pandemic.
The disbursement of funds and distribution of food items which will be done through his ARA foundation will be supervised by the president of the foundation, Mr. Olusegun Ilori.
ARA as fondly referred to explained that this is a time for all to come together and support each other as all fingers are not equal and those that are blessed more than others should rise and be their brother’s keeper in times like this, not only during electioneering period.
According to him the scheme will target hundreds of people in Oluyole federal constituency regardless of their political party affiliation.
While calling on other well meaning indigenes of the state to support government initiatives in these trying times he also enjoined residents of Oyo state to follow government guidelines to prevent the spread of the virus.
