The University of Ibadan on Tuesday, 10th August, 2021 lost a Professor of Veterinary Anatomy, Professor Bankole Oke to the Delta variants of COVID 19.
Before his death, he was a member of the Governing Board of the Universityy.
However, a reliable source in University of Ibadan told OYOMIND that Late Scholar did not take any dose of the COVID 19 vaccine before his death.
Born in 1953, Late Oke had his tertiary education at the University of Ibadan and has been part of the University system till death call the shot.
While advising the Public, a physician urged the general public to be cautious of the new variant of Covid-19, “let’s be cautious, vaccines are not complete protections against Covid-19.”
