Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission (OYSIEC) has said that the timetable for the forthcoming local government election will be out by January, 2021.
This is contained in a statement by the Commission Chairman, Aare Isiaka Abiola Olagunju during a visitation to the Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at her Molete Secretariat.
The Commission promised the people of Oyo State a free and fair election while they urged all political parties to allow internal democracy.
Aare Isiaka assured the people of Oyo State that, Governor Seyi Makinde will not interfere in the electoral process and council poll, said power belongs to the people while the people will be the one to divide who is to be elected.
