Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde has sent a list of new commissioner designates to the Oyo State House of Assembly (OYHA).
This was confirmed by the Speaker, Rt. Hon Debo Ogundoyin during the house plenary on Tuesday.
The nominees, Miss Wasilat Adegoke Adefemi and Dr. Oluwaserimi Adewumi Ajetunmobi according to the governor’s letter are said to be considered worthy of the appointment.
”I therefore request for the screening and approval of the honourable house for the screening of Miss Adegoke Wasilat Adefemi and Dr. Oluwaserimi Adewumi Ajetunmobi to serve as Commissioners,” he said.
Ogundoyin in his remark said some ministries are still vacant and that the new commissioner designate will fill them.
He also said that the commissioner nominees will be screened soon.
Hon Adebo Ogundoyin said there are still some Ministries that are yet to have Commissioners adding that the new Commissioner nominees will be screened soon by the House.
The Speaker said the two nominees may be screened by the house tomorrow.
