The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has received a report on the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election for the Ibadan-North Federal Constituency bye-election, scheduled to hold on Saturday, 19th July 2025.
In the letters addressed to the Director of Election and Party Monitoring at INEC, signed by Rosemary Alaba Adeniyi, Ag. Administrative Secretary for the Resident Electoral Commissioner, the report details the outcome of the APC primary election.
It was revealed that the APC primary election in Ibadar-North Federal Constituency scheduled for Saturday, 19th 2025 did not hold.
“I hereby forward herewith the attached report of the House of Representatives Primary Election of All Progressives Congress (APC) for Ibadan-North Federal Constituency Bye-Election Scheduled to hold on Saturday 19th July, 2025.
“Please, accept the assurances of our highest regards sir”, Adeniyi stated.
The report as attached to the letter states thus:
“The Primary Election of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ibadar-North Federal Constituency of Oyo Sute scheduled for Saturday, 19th July, 2025 did not hold in Oyo State.
“However, all effort to monitor the Primary Election as specified in another letter signed by the State Secretary which was submited on Sunday, 20th of July, 2025 proved abortive.”
