BREAKING: Former Ibadan North Chairman, Agba Egbe Joins APC

In a major political shift, former Ibadan North Local Government Chairman, Hon. Yusuff Sahib Oladayo, popularly known as Agba Egbe, has officially dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Agba Egbe, alongside key leaders of the influential Aleluyah Group in the Ibadan zone, led thousands of their supporters into the APC, marking a significant defection ahead of the 2027 elections.

Joining him in the move were several notable PDP figures, including ,Hon. Yahya Akinbile ,Hon. Taiwo Salau ,Princess Adedoja ,Hon. Bamidele Lawal ,Hon. Ekolo ,Alhaja Mariam Motunrayo ,Hon. Yinka Oladimeji ,Hon. Egbende Akeem ,Hon. Dauda Lawal (Ire), Hon. Jelili Salam from Egbeda Local Government.

The mass defection is seen as a blow to the PDP’s structure in Ibadan and a major boost to the APC’s strength in Oyo State as political realignments intensify ahead of the next electoral cycle.
