Residents of Felele, Ibadan, have lauded the owner of De Manchy Hotel, Mr. Kayode Ogunlowo, popular known as Kay Manchy for his contributions to community development through road improvement and enhanced street lighting.
De Manchy Hotel, located at 19 Oyegbami Street, Barracks Junction, Felele, recently undertook the asphalting of the road linking the Barracks Junction to the hotel premises. The project has improved accessibility for both residents and visitors, reducing dust and easing traffic flow in the area.
In addition to tarring the road, Ogunlowo sponsored the installation of streetlights along the stretch, significantly improving night-time visibility and boosting security in the neighbourhood.
Community members have praised the initiative, noting that it sets an example for other business owners to invest in the areas where they operate.
