BREAKING: Barr. Ajewole Emerges New CCII President, Defeats Incumbent PG, Adeaga

Barrister Ajeniyi Ajewole has defeated the incumbent Chairman of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII) Prince Oyebisi Adeaga on Friday afternoon.

Barrister Ajeniyi Ajewole, who won in a fiercely contested election for the Office of the President General of the Ibadan Indigene Council defeated the current Chairman, Prince Oluyemisi Adeaga.

Despite various issues surrounding the election which emerged as a result of the build up to the election in the past few months, the election was held at the Ibadan House.

Barr. Ajweole won with 46 votes votes and his close Contestant the Incumbent President General, Prince Oluyemisi Adeaga polled 39 votes.
