Ibadan came to a vibrant standstill today as Fresh FM organized a spectacular Children’s Day carnival, drawing thousands of enthusiastic attendees, both young and old.
The event, filled with excitement and joy, marked a significant celebration for children and families across the city.
Prominent figures graced the carnival, adding to its grandeur and success. Hon. Seun Fakorede, the former Commissioner for Youth and Sports in Oyo State and recently appointed Executive Adviser to Governor Seyi Makinde on Youth and Sports, was among the distinguished guests.
Hon. Fakorede expressed his admiration for the event, highlighting its importance in promoting youth engagement and community spirit.
The event also saw the presence of Fresh FM’s CEO, Dr. Yinka Ayefele, whose media platform has been instrumental in organizing the carnival. His participation underscored the station’s commitment to community-centric initiatives and fostering a sense of unity and celebration.
Adding a musical flair to the festivities, Fuji icon Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, Taye Currency, and Segun Johnson delivered an electrifying performance, much to the delight of the audience. His presence brought an additional layer of excitement, drawing cheers from fans of all ages.
The carnival was further enlivened by renowned content creator and comedian, Isbae U, whose humorous antics kept the crowd entertained. Popular Nollywood actors Odunlade Adekola, Femi Adebayo and Afonja Sanyeri also attended, captivating attendees with their charm and presence, and participating in various interactive activities with the children.
