The business mogul, founder and the leader of a diverse group of affiliated companies for Safeway Group, Mogaji Abiola Iyiola, has clocked 50 years on this day, 8th of December 2020.
Abiola who was born in the ancient city of Ibadan, Nigeria to the Iyiola family of Ibadan at Anlamole Compound, Isale Ijebu, Oja’ba, is an exemplary leader whose leadership qualities have earned him a key position on several boards and commissions in Nigeria, South Africa and United States. He was also recognized and awarded the prestigious traditional title of “Mogaji” in 2016 for his leadership qualities and contribution to the Ibadan community.
He is also the former Chairman of the Mumineen Relief Projects, Inc., with its headquarter in Houston, Texas USA from where he plays a significant role in establishing and overseeing many of its charity aids and development programme to date.
Abiola is a proud Ibadan man who is extremely passionate about his heritage and its culture. He enjoys travelling, cycling, hiking, water sports as well as exploring the different exotic tastes in African cuisine.
The Secretary General, Ibadan Descendant Union (IDU), United State of America and Presisent, IDU-Houston Chapter is indeed a force to reckon with in all ramifications for his excellent philanthropic gestures towards the development of Ibadan, Oyo State at Large.
As he clocks fifty years today, we wish him a happy birthday and we pray that his light continues to shine and never go dim at all.
