An aspirant for Ibadan North East Constituency II under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Oyo State, Aderonke Dairo on Thursday, 8th April 2021 hosted a repositioning conference to draw a way forward towards achieving success in the 2023 general election.
The event which was held at the popular Ibadan Civic Centre had in attendance party faithful across board, traditional ruler inclusive.
Dorothy Ossai, the lead speaker at the event spoke on the need for the part to design strategic plans to enable it governs the country in trying times like this also charged the party to invest in its organizational structure if it is truly interested in governing for decades.
She said “It is a great idea coming together to unite the party at this time. So, everyone should have it in their mind that building the party is the utmost priority because we cannot afford to trade the unity of the party for anything.
Aderonke while speaking with the press enjoined party members in the state to join hands together t ensure that the party comes out victorious in 2023.
“My decision to hold this conference is borne out of the need to deposition and strengthen the party ahead of the 2023 elections,” she said.
She further explained that her ambition to become a member of the state house of assembly from Ibadan North East Constituency II is borne out of the need for quality representation.
Oloye Sharafadeen Ali, who represented the Olubadan of Ibadan- Royal Father of the day, said on behalf of Olubadan prayed for the continuity of the progressive, and maybe the party add more value to the state and Nigeria at large.
Other party stalwarts at the event are, Senator Fatai Buhari, Mrs Florence Ajimobi represented by Mr. Bolaji Tunji, Barrister Adebayo Shittu, Mr Bimbo Adekambi among others.
