Akala‘s Death, An Unexpected Loss To Numerous People – Asiwaju Oladimeji Mourns Ex-OYO Governor

A former aide and political associate, Asiwaju Oladimeji Olatilewa Ayinla has mourn the death of his former boss, Late governor Adebayo Alao Akala.

In a tribute message made available to OYOMIND, Asiwaju Oladimeji described Akala’s death as an unexpected loss to numerous people in Ogbomoso and Oyo State at large.

According to him, Ex-Governor Akala was not only colossus but also a political juggernaut whose great impact cut across many political divides.

“His Excellency, late Otunba Christopher Adebayo Alao-Akala was an amiable, able, performing, exceptional, dependable, indefatigable and quintessential leader, whose death came to me as a rude shock personally.

“His death is a great and unexpected loss to numerous group of people in Ogbomosho, Oyo State, Nigeria as a whole and international communities.

“Ògá!!! (As fondly called by many of us who were privileged to worked closely with him as the Executive Governor of Oyo State), will forever miss him for his uncommon leadership style, a father figure and a mentor in all phases of life. Every citizens of Oyo state will also miss him for his excellent leadership acumen in merging politics and governance, coupled with his felicity in roads construction and other notable projects, which earned him the legendary title of “Óyàtò Governor.

“On the political pedestal, ògà was not only a colossus, he was and will remain a political Juggernaut, whose great impacts cut across many political parties all over Nigeria.

“Conclusively, my utmost prayer is that; may Almighty God grant him eternal rest and comfort the entire family” he concluded.
