The Executive Chairman, Ibadan North Local Government, Honourable Yusuf Sahib Oladayo ‘Agba Egbe’ has commiserated with the Governor Seyi Makinde, families, and friends of the late Honourable Oludotun Popoola representing Ibadan South East II Constituency who died in the early hours of Wednesday, 13th July 2022.
In a condolence message signed by, Mr. Bodija Akinwale, the special adviser to the council chairman, Agba Egbe, expresses shock at the sudden demise of the serving lawmaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly who passed away at age 46.
According to him, Late Hon. Popoola was a committed and hard-working legislator who died when his people needed him most.
“The late Hon. Popoola died when his services to his constituency and state were most needed.
“I mourn the demise of a young and active politician who was willingly and ever ready to give his best in service to God and humanity.
“He was a committed and hard-working member, who championed the cause of his people.
“My hearts go out to his immediate family, the people of Ibadan Southeast Constituency 11, and Oyo State over this great loss.
“I pray God Almighty to give them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. The state as a whole will surely miss him,” he concluded.
