What else can a community be expecting from a Leader than RESPONSIBILITY. It is very pitiable that the glory we behold is defaming already.
Few days ago, I called the attention of the media pals of Hon. Abass Agboworin (representing IBSE/NE FED. Constituency at the Green Chamber) about the lacks of communication medium to the constituents about the happenings of our community. Some of them came out defending our dear Hon. with baseless facts that can’t hold a single drop of water.
Swipe to the recent pandemic situation in the country, over few weeks, no preventive measure has librated from our representative while many others have been doing the needful even though some are not enough or rather late. Let me remind you that this community houses the likes of Oja’ba market, part of Bere, Owode market, Odinjo, Eleta, Idi arere, Kudeti and many notable heart of Ibadanland. Tell me why there is no need for swift actions – with awareness measures, preventive aid and relieve food materials.
While alot of NGOs and other Corporate bodies have passed this stage of enlightenment with their respective contribution (which some of us volunteered during the course).
Dear sir, this is not a call for project but rather a responsibility!
