Olubadan’s Demise, a Monumental Loss – Ayodeji Karim

Ibadan born technocrat and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress Ayodeji Ismail Karim has described as a monumental loss the transitioning at this time of His Imperial majesty Oba Mohood Isola Olalekan Balogun Ali Okunmade II, Olubadan of Ibadan Land.

This is contained in a statement made available to OYOMIND.

The statement read:

‘’It is with a heavy heart that I extend my condolence to the people of Ibadan Land both home and abroad, the immediate family of His Imperial Majesty, the government of Oyo state and the Ali Iwo ruling house on Babas transitioning at this time, Baba has lived an exemplary life in public service, the academic world and as a traditional ruler, it is painful that his transitioning comes at a time that we’ve only celebrated his 2 years reign on the throne with lofty achievements and and his wisdom is still much required.

“We pray to God to repose his soul in paradise and give us the fortitude to bear this loss’’
