48 Hours After, Oyo Speaker Fails To Respond To Over N3.5M Theft Case by Aides

48hours after the revelation of the theft case and setting ablaze of part of the lodge of the Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin by his aides, the speaker has refused to respond to the case.

OYOMIND earlier reports that, the aides which include two men of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), a Cook, and two private security guards set ablaze the part of the Speaker’s lodge and carted away over N3.5 million worth of cash and other valuables.

The officers of the Nigerian Police Force arrested these ssuspects and were able to recover N500,000 from the aides since their arrest.

The Speaker who was abroad when the incident happened rushed down to Nigeria and ever since then remained silent on the issue.

However, the culprits have been released on bail after the intervention of the NSCDC Commandant, Commandant Adaralewa Michael.
