Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Abiodun Makinde has commended the sacrifice of stakeholders and Governors within All Progressive Congress (APC) for the unity of the country.
Makinde, while addressing Channels Television during it’s “One-On-One with Governor Seyi Makinde” earlier on Friday commended APC Governors for their efforts in safeguarding the unity of the country and it’s rotation of Presidency to the South, during it’s National Convention held last year.
Makinde said, I must give kudos to APC Governors such as Governor Nasir Elrufai of Kaduna, Jigawa State Governor and Kogi state Governor, they all came together and said, for the unity of this country, let us rotate the Presidency to the South but that’s not the case with our Party”.
He continued, “while we were fighting over Presidency because of Constitution, we the Integrity Group, we are fighting this principle because Principle must stand.
