2023: Accord Guber Candidate, Bayo Adelabu Solicits Ibadan Traditional Council Support

In his concerted effort towards winning the 2023 governorship election, the gubernatorial candidate of Accord,, Chief Adebayo Adelabu has solicited the support of the Traditional Council in Ibadan North Local Government.

Chief Adelabu while highlighting some of his plans for greater Ibadan and economic recovery of Oyo State said there’s a template and new ideology to boost the economy of the state without necessarily increasing taxes or putting financial burden on the people of the state.

“Our plan is to develop Oyo State through consultations with relevant stakeholders in business and development experts with the aim of moving the state from poverty to prosperity.

“I am passionate about the development of Oyo State that’s why most of my businesses are here, and I’ve employed thousands of people to reduce unemployment.

“None of the other candidates in the forthcoming governorship election can boast of having any business concern in the state” Adelabu said.

The former Deputy Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria said he will use his influence and experience in the banking and financial sector to facilitate free interest loans to traders, artisans and corporate organisations to stabilize the economy of the state.

He urged the Traditional Council members in Ibadan North Local Government area and the entire state to support him and all Accord candidates to move the state forward, adding that during his administration welfare of traditional rulers and chiefs will be given adequate attention.

In his remarks, the Director General Bayo Adelabu Campaign Organization (BACO), Chief Adegboyega Adegoke said among the candidates for governorship election Accord candidate, Chief Adebayo Adelabu is the most qualified.

He explained that under Accord Government, local government administration will be rejig and supported through the much required autonomy.

Also in his remarks, Chief Kunle Sanda said the present administration has bastardized the local government administration through withholding of funds thereby affecting the functionality of local government administration.

He assured that if Chief Adelabu is elected on March 11 2023, he has the managerial and financial experience to manage effectively the little resources of the state.
